The orderlies, doctors, and nurses at the Cape Cod Hospital Cardiovascular Unit are highly skilled and at the top of their game. My husband received excellent treatment from everyone involved in his quadruple by-pass. However, one ICU nurse stood out for me. The evening before my husband’s surgery, Maureen Creedon took time to talk to me about the surgery, explaining what would happen and exactly how he would look afterwards. She gave me her valuable time then ended with a reassuring hug.

Oncology Nursing Staff
I have been undergoing chemotherapy treatment at Cape Cod Hospital in Hyannis for the past six weeks. Hopefully, it will end successfully in about three months. Never have I met a more caring group of people than the entire nursing staff of the Oncology Department. Patients initially enter the treatment program fearful, confused, rundown, etc.
The positive attitude of the nursing staff quickly puts you at ease; they are always cheerful and upbeat. They seem to know every patient’s first name and you soon learn theirs. Patients quickly feel as though they are part of an extended family that emotionally supports them. And they all give amazing pain-free injections. Bless them all.
