Kaitlyn is the Clinical Lead Nurse for C3 at Winchester Hospital. Recently, Kaitlyn was taking care of a patient who had a long hospital stay. Due to her health problems, the patient was unable to spend Christmas with her children, one a mentally challenged teenager. Kaitlyn took it upon herself to decorate a room so the family could celebrate Christmas in February. I believe Kaitlyn and her fellow C3 staff went above and beyond to provide this family with a Christmas they all deserved.

My first experience with Winchester Hospital was 53 year ago, when my son was born. Since then my family (wife and four children) have had operations there and spent time in the emergency room. But until eight weeks ago, I didn’t know Nurse Barbara Cleary and the Wound Center existed. From day one, Barbara has kept me informed on what she and the doctor would be doing to fill the hole in my left leg caused by orthopedic surgery. The doctor explained Apligraf to me, a product to heal skin wounds, and when he left, Barbara really got into it with me. I could go on and on about the things that Barbara told me to do to help me heal my wound. I have told her my feelings, and I hope you will recognize her skills.
