If you’ve ever dreamed of flipping burgers on the Coney Island boardwalk, or have a longstanding crush on one of the Wahlberg brothers, you might want to head over to Brooklyn this weekend. The famous Massachusetts burger chain Wahlburgers is opening its first NYC joint, and they’re hiring.

Located at 3015 Stillwell Avenue, the outpost overlooks the Coney Island beach and boardwalk and is expected to open some time next month. The job fair began Thursday, May 28, and runs to Saturday, May 30, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. each day.

The restaurant will seat 300 and have a rooftop patio and indoor-outdoor bar, so they’re looking to hire for all positions – servers, cooks, bartenders, bussers, and hosts, according to the restaurant’s Facebook page.

Here’s what the Coney Island location will look like:

A local news station says the job fair has already seen an impressive turnout, with hundreds lining up Thursday to apply for one of the 75 open positions, or probably to sneak a peek at Donnie or Mark Wahlberg (who reportedly didn’t show).

But don’t let the competition deter you. The Wahlburger website says they’re looking to hire individuals who are “honest, hard working, dependable, and are able to work under pressure,’’ so if your personality fits the bill, why not apply?

Quite a few people have already taken to Twitter to announce their hopes of working at Wahlburgers:

The Coney Island joint will be the third Wahlburgers to open, and will serve traditional Wahlburger fare – gourmet burgers, fries, and adult frappes like the “Fluffahnuttahh.’’ The other two open locations are in Hingham and Toronto, but the Wahlbergs recently announced they plan to open at least 27 more.

Executive Chef Paul Wahlberg and his celeb brothers Mark and Donnie founded Wahlburgers in 2011. The restaurant is also the subject of an A&E Network original series that focuses on the brothers’ life paths from low-income Dorchester kids to successful chef and international superstars.

If you can’t make it out to Coney Island this weekend but desperately want to work at Wahlburgers, Hingham is hiring, as is the Lynnfield restaurant that is set to open June 1, according to Theresa Hogan, a supervisor at the Hingham location. Open positions at her joint includes cook, dining room attendant, greeter, cashier, food runner, and “frappe,’’ which we assume just means you make delicious milkshakes all day.

To land a job there, Hogan said she looks for people with a positive attitude. “We’re all about the brand here, the family, and having fun,’’ she said.

But if you really just want to look at pictures of Mark Wahlberg…
