These are the healthiest companies in Massachusetts
According to the Boston Business Journal.
Celebrating its sixth annual “Healthiest Employers” program, The Boston Business Journal honored three local companies for being the healthiest places to work in Mass. yesterday.
While 26 companies were recognized in this year’s program, three winners were ultimately selected – one each in the large, midsize, and small categories. Gillette took the No. 1 spot for large companies, while Gentle Giant, a moving company, and OMAM Inc., a global asset management company, took the top spots for midsize and small businesses, respectively.
BBJ chooses the finalists through a rigorous assessment process of 75 scored questions that are completed by the participating companies. A third-party research and survey manager, Healthiest Employers Inc., evaluated nominee initiatives in six categories ranging from “culture and leadership commitment” to “programming and interventions.”
Some of the runners-up were Accenture, athenahealth, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, Fidelity Investments, and Wellesley College.
