Library hosting recycled art

The Great Ponds Gallery at the Lakeville Public Library is showing an exhibit of homemade recycled art by Middleborough naturalist and library technician Melissa Guimont.   The art consists of framed creations using such items as bottle caps and corks, library officials said. Also on display at the library’s gallery are photos of wetlands and wetland plants, presented by the Lakeville Conservation Commission in honor of its 50th anniversary. The free exhibit runs through Nov. 26. For more information, call the library at 508-947-9028.
