A report released Tuesday, March 25, 2014, determined that an FBI agent was justified in fatally shooting Todashev, who became violent after he had agreed to give a statement about his involvement in a triple slaying in Massachusetts last May. Boston Magazine claims it has obtained an unredacted photo of the confession Ibragim Todashev was in the process of writing before being shot and killed by an FBI agent on May 22, 2013.

The confession appears to include an admission by Todashev that he was, in fact, involved in the September 11, 2011 triple murder in Waltham, Massachusetts along with alleged Boston Marathon bomber Tamerlan Tsarnaev. The confession also appears to include a “robbery’’ and “drug dealers.’’ Much of the speculation about the 2011 triple homicide has stemmed from an uncertainty over the motive behind the gruesome murders.

Boston Magazine admits the photo quality makes the confession difficult to read, but they say Todashev wrote:

I wanna tell the story about the robbery me and Tam did in Waltham in September of 2011.

Earlier today, Florida State Attorney Jeff Ashton released a report that cleared the FBI agent who shot Todashev of any wrongdoing. Read more about that report here.
