An alleged carjacker was arrested after carjacking led police through multiple Middlesex County towns today in pursuit of an allegedly armed suspect.
Police continue to search for a second suspect in the incident, WBZ reports.

The incident began late Sunday night in Haverhill, when the suspect allegedly carjacked his first vehicle, the Globe reports. Around 1 p.m. in Newton, the suspect allegedly fired shots in another carjacking attempt, NECN reported.
He allegedly ditched that car in Billerica and drove off in a stolen Toyota Tundra, according to the Newton Patch.
As State Police followed in pursuit, the suspect crashed near Concord center and stole another vehicle.
The alleged carjacker crashed through the gates at Hanscom Field in Concord and continued to evade police until he was stopped and arrested in Bedford, according NECN.
The suspect has been transported to Lahey Clinic in Burlington with unknown injuries, the Newton Patch reported. Police are investigating the possibility of a shooting victim in Carlisle.
Washington Street westbound at Chestnut Street and Watertown Street at Eden Avenue are closed due to an ongoing police investigation, according to Newton Police.
