Boston is celebrating International Pillow Fight Day by holding a massive pillow fight at the Cambridge Common on Saturday, April 5.

This will be the city’s 8th annual pillow fight and will start promptly at 3 p.m. Organizers of the event said they encourage all pillow fighters to arrive by 2:55 p.m.

According to the event’s Facebook page, if you plan to participate, here’s what you need to know:

1. Don’t bring beanbag, feather, or zippered pillows. This will help minimize clean up and injuries

2. Don’t hit someone that doesn’t have a pillow or is holding a camera

3. Take off your glasses if you’re wearing them for the fight

4. Costumes are encourage, but please make sure they are family-friendly

So find your best pummeling pillow, don your most creative costume, and get out there for Boston’s biggest pillow fight.
