Victim Struck by Orange Line Train at Ruggles

An alleged MBTA trespasser has been struck by a train just before 5 p.m. Saturday near the Ruggles stop on the Orange Line, the MBTA Transit Police are reporting:

WHDH-TV reports that the person was transported to an unknown area hospital, and is alive. The incident remains under investigation.

WCVB-TV notes that passengers are being shuttled between Back Bay Station and Jackson Square, though at least one passenger says many are stranded at the stop:
