A federal grand jury has subpoenaed the wife of dead Boston Marathon bombing suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev in connection with an investigation into a 2011 triple homicide in Waltham, the Associated Press reports:
The attorney for the wife of the dead Boston Marathon bombing suspect says a federal grand jury asked her for items that belonged to one of the victims in a triple slaying in a Boston suburb nearly three years ago. ... The attorney for Tsarnaev's widow, Katherine Russell, says a grand jury asked her for items that belonged to Brendan Mess, one of the three people killed in the Waltham triple slaying and a friend of Tsarnaev's. Attorney Amato DeLuca says Russell doesn't have anything that belongs to Mess.
