The group Divest Harvard has blocked the entrance to Mass Hall as a part of its Beyond Earth Day movement on Wednesday, calling for a meeting with University president Drew Faust.

A University official told the Harvard Crimson that Faust is out of town.

Police came to the blocked door of Mass Hall earlier in the day, according to tweets from Divest Harvard.

Here’s a video of a member of the Divest Harvard group speaking at the blockade.

Also, the main entrance to Harvard’s Lamont Library was closed briefly as a man was placed in handcuffs and taken away in an ambulance, according to the Crimson, but it’s unknown if the events are related.
