Mornings like this can really ‘stirrup’ the emotions for some.
But the Chatham Fire Department apparently kept their cool Friday morning and ‘baled’ out a mini horse that got itself stuck in a sinkhole, according to WHDH.
Chatham FD pulled a mini horse from a mini hole this AM. Per CFD: "The horse appeared uninjured but agitated" pic.twitter.com/hhRl502IJ8— WHDH Assignment Desk (@deskon7) May 2, 2014
The sinkhole was about three to four feet deep, according to the Cape Cod Times.
The hole appeared to have been the cesspool of an old septic system. A block wall could be seen on one side of the hole, the release stated.
Officials described the horse as being in an “agitated’’ state but still ‘stable’ and free of injury.
