2-Alarm Fire at Roxbury Home Displaces 3

Boston firefighters responded to and ultimately put out a two-alarm fire at a home on East Cottage Street in Roxbury at 3:45 p.m. Sunday afternoon., according to the Boston Fire Department.

There were no injuries, although three adults were displaced from the blaze, NECN reported.

The heavy fire was in the home’s attic, and the Boston Fire Department estimated about $300,000 in damage, according to Fox 25.
