Did a tornado rip through areas of northern Vermont early Saturday morning? That’s what area residents were asking after waking up to some wind-related damage.

The National Weather Service issued a tornado warning for parts of Caledonia County, Lamoille, Orleans, and Washington Counties in Northern Vermont at 3:46 a.m. on Saturday, NECN reports.

Shortly after 4 a.m., the agency indicated a tornado had been reported in North Wolcott, before issuing a warning cancellation.

The National Weather Service is expected to make a statement later today on the weather a tornado was a part of the severe storm and involved in the weather-related damage.
