Three Charged With Trafficking Drugs in South Boston

Two men and one woman have been arrested and charged with trafficking drugs in South Boston, police announced today.

Angel Maldonado, 31, and Brendley Rodriguez, 28, both of Roxbury, were charged with trafficking drugs, possession with intent to distribute drugs, and unlawful presence of heroin. Angel Santiago, 32, of Mattapan was charged with trafficking drugs.

Police said the individuals distributed heroin near the D street, Old Colony, and Old Harbor areas of South Boston.

On Thursday morning, May 22, police executed search warrants at 25 Highland Avenue in Roxbury and in the area of Bartlett and Dudley streets. Officers found three bags filled with 60 grams of a substance believed to be heroin, drug paraphernalia, several small bags filled with a substance believed to be marijuana, and more than $2,800 in cash.
