Reports: Burst Pipe at Spaulding Rehab Forces Evacuation

A burst pipe caused flooding at Spaulding Rehabilitation in West Roxbury, forcing more than 50 patients to be transferred to other facilities in the area today.

WCVB reported that a broken water main filled the center’s basement with several inches of water, and that 56 patients had to be evacuated after the water was shut off.

WHDH reported that ambulances were brought in to help transfer patients, and that there were no injuries.
