Two Killed in Single Car Crash in Chelmsford

A man and young girl were killed after the car the man was driving struck a guardrail at a rest stop on I-495 Southbound in Chelmsford.

State Police said at about 12:50 a.m. the 2004 Toyota Camry driven by the man crossed over the island and drove through the grass before hitting a metal guardrail, the Boston Globe reports. The accident scene did not require any highway lanes to close.

State Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
