Boston Globe: Democrats Forced to Choose as Convention Conflicts with Boston Pride Parade

A scheduling conflict between the state Democratic convention and the Boston Pride Parade has caused frustration and hurt feelings for Democrats, who are now forced to choose between the two big events, The Boston Globe reports:

John Walsh, a former chairman of the state Democratic Party, said he didn’t realize the conflict when the convention was planned last year and called it “an honest mistake.’’ He also said he accepted blame for the time conflict.
