Quincy Livery Driver Charged with Rape, Ordered Held on Bail

A 40-year-old Quincy man named Said Said was charged with rape and robbery after he allegedly attacked a woman who got into his livery vehicle over the weekend. He was ordered held on $35,000 bail.

The victim thought she was hailing a cab in Boston’s Seaport District on Sunday when she says she got into Said’s livery vehicle. But after getting inside, she was allegedly taken to a secluded spot, sexually assaulted, and robbed of her cellphone and several credit cards.

Said was charged with aggravated rape, unarmed robbery, and receiving stolen property at his arraignment on Wednesday.
