Police Investigating Knifepoint Sexual Assault in JP Arboretum

Boston Police are investigating the sexual assault of a woman at knifepoint in the Arnold Arboretum in Jamaica Plain around 11 a.m. Wednesday morning.

The victim told officers she was also robbed by the suspect, described as a black male in his early twenties, 5’4’’ to 5’6’’ in height with a thin build, wearing a black do-rag, white t-shirt and dark jeans with grey coloring.

He was also riding a black bicycle, police said.

Authorities are asking for the public’s help in solving the case — anyone with information about the attack is urged to contact detectives at (617) 343-5628.
