Police: Naked Man Was Leaf Blowing

You have a lot of rights on your property, but drunkenly doing yard work in the nude? Probably not among them.

A Shrewsbury man was charged with open and gross lewdness Monday afternoon after he was allegedly seen, sans clothes, using a leaf blower to clean his driveway.

The Worcester Telegram &Gazette reports that Richard Capra, 69, of 437C Lake St., was only about 20 feet from the road, prompting passing motorists to stop and take pictures of the spectacle.

The T&G reports:

After becoming belligerent with police, he was arrested and given some clothing to put on before he was transported to the Police Department.

The 5-foot-7, 260-pound man was charged with open and gross lewdness. He was arraigned in Westboro District Court Tuesday and released on $500 cash bail.

Capra is back in court on Aug. 15.
