Video shot by a spectator at a North Hampton, New Hampshire airfield captured a small plane’s final moments before it crashed shortly after takeoff Monday, killing all on board.
The footage, provided to WBZ, shows the Cessna 180 making a brief ascent before appearing to stall, turn left and dip sharply downward behind some nearby trees.
One witness told the Boston Globe that the plane appeared to climb normally before the nose of the plane suddenly “went up at a very severe angle.’’
The crash killed David Ingalls, 77, and Bruce Anderson, 62, both of Kingston, New Hampshire.
Federal and state authorities continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
