Car vs. House in Dorchester

A Dorchester house was hit by a car on Friday afternoon.

According to the Boston Fire Department, a black SUV managed to drive up off the road and onto the front steps of a brick home:

The driver was sent to the hospital, while the car’s other occupants — a woman and two children — were not injured.

The home’s “injuries’’ will be assessed by a building inspector, who has been called to the scene.
