Erika Murray, whose Blackstone home was found to have three dead infants in September, been indicted on two counts of murder, according to District Attorney Joseph Early. Murray was being held on $1 million bail for charges for which she pleaded not guilty, including concealing the deaths of her three children.
Early also announced that Raymond Rivera, the father of the children who had claimed he mainly lived in the squalid residence’s basement, is facing seven total charges, including two accounts of assault and battery on a child. Rivera pleaded not guilty and his bail was set at $100,000.
Four living children, ages 13, 10, 3, and 6 months old, were also found in the home in September. DNA evidence showed that Rivera is the father of all four children. The two older children are living with family and the two younger children are in the custody of the Department for Children and Families (DCF).
