A Revere man was arrested Tuesday for allegedly vandalizing a vintage trolley at the MBTA’s Boylston Street station last year, according to MBTA Transit Police. Marc Meadowcroft, 19, is facing 14 counts of felony vandalism for spray-painting his tag name, “CIGA,’’ on a displayed train car in January 2014.
As police launched an investigation, Meadowcroft continued to tag MBTA property, according to police. Police provided this surveillance video of the alleged vandalism, which helped lead to the arrest:
In July 2014, police issued an arrest warrant for Daniel Nelligan, 25, also for allegedly defacing one of the antique cars, but Nelligan left the state, according to The Boston Globe.
