Burned remains of person found near Milton bridge
A body with severe burns was found near a homeless encampment in Milton that used an open flame for warmth, the Norfolk District Attorney’s office said.
The encampment is located near a bridge off Blue Hills Parkway. David Traub, a spokesperson for the district attorney, said they were waiting on the state medical examiner for identification and a cause of death.
“We don’t have grounds to call it suspicious at this point,’’ he said.
The body was spotted by a passerby, who then flagged down a Milton Police cruiser, Traub said.
