A mother and her 5-month-old baby were struck by a car Thursday night in Roxbury, according Boston Police spokesman David Estrada.
The crash took place on Humboldt Avenue at about 8:40 p.m. Both mother and child were taken to Boston Medical Center with serious injuries, Estrada said.
Police said in a press conference at the scene that the mother was carrying the baby when they were hit, according to WHDH. Both have head trauma, according to the report.
Officers are questioning the driver and witnesses at the scene, according to police.
