3 killed in one-car crash in Vermont


CASTLETON, Vt. (AP) — Vermont state police say three Vermont residents are dead after a one-car crash in Castleton.

Castleton police say the car was headed west on Drake Road about 4:15 a.m. Saturday when it went off the road and crashed into a tree. The driver and the two passengers in the car were pronounced dead at the scene.

Police identified them as 26-year-old Andrew F. Laramie, of Castleton, who was driving the car; 24-year-old Caleb C. Kinney, of Fair Haven; and 23-year-old Samantha J. Forrest, also of Castleton.

The bodies were taken to the Medical Examiner’s Office in Burlington for autopsies.
