Tufts student wakes up to find unknown man in her dorm room

Tufts University police are searching for a man who allegedly entered a female student’s dorm room while she slept early Saturday morning.

Just before 4 a.m., a resident of Wren Hall, an undergraduate dorm on the college’s Medford/Somerville campus, woke up and found a man she didn’t know in her room rubbing her arm, police said. She called campus police, who searched the area but did not find the suspect.

Police said the suspect is a white or Hispanic man who is between 5-foot-eight and 6-feet tall with short, black hair. They ask that anyone with information contact campus police at 617-627-3030.
