Burger King evacuated after truck burst into flames
A Burger King in Wareham was evacuated after a pickup truck burst into flames at the drive-through on Sunday, reports The Boston Globe.
The restaurant’s manager called the Wareham Fire Department at 2:26 p.m. to report the incident, which caused $20,000 in damage. Captain Matt Rowley said a mechanical failure caused the fire.
Officials called the fire accidental. No one was injured.
