Kids help boy with autism sing ‘Let It Go’ at talent show

SHREWSBURY, Mass. (AP) — A 13-year-old boy with autism performing a song from the movie ‘‘Frozen’’ at a Massachusetts middle school talent show started to stumble on some of the lyrics, but students in the audience were there to pick him up.

WCVB-TV reports that Jagger Lavely was dressed as Olaf from the movie and was singing ‘‘Let It Go’’ at the Oak Middle School talent show when he started to struggle with the lyrics. That’s when kids in the audience jumped in, singing with him and helping the teen get through it.

The video was captured by Oliva Klein, who was filming the show for Shrewsbury Media Connection. She says the audience’s participation prompted a visible change in Jagger’s mood and encouraged him to finish the song strong.
