Watch a Cape Cod seal escape from a white shark
A determined seal escaped from a white shark recently in Nauset, and it was all captured on camera.

The incident was documented by spotter pilot Wayne Davis and posted on the Atlantic White Shark Conservancy’s Facebook page.
The seal escaped, according to Davis, because the water became too shallow for the shark to swim in. So the shark made an abrupt U-turn and swam offshore.
“The seal was within inches of being brunch,” Davis wrote.
The Chase! Spotter pilot Wayne Davis captured some incredible images today of a white shark chasing a seal close to shore on the north side of the Nauset Inlet. The seal got away!
