Boy has new prosthetic feet thanks to Boston Marathon bombing survivor
When 5-year-old Jude Hill lost his feet two years ago in a lawn mowing accident, his family fretted over the cost of the prosthetics that would enable him to run again.
Thanks to Heather Abbott, a Boston Marathan bombing survivor, the little boy from Illinois has a brand new pair of feet, reports NBC.

Abbott, who lost her leg in the 2013 bombing, was fitted with several different legs in the aftermath of the bombing due to the kindness of strangers, she said.
“I was very lucky that my tragedy was so public in a sense, because people reached out and helped,” she told NBC.
Abbott wants to help others in the same way. Her foundation, the Heather Abbott Foundation, helps people like Jude who have lost their limbs through traumatic circumstances.

Heather Abbott, from Rhode Island, lost her leg in the Boston Marathon bombing.
Jude was fitted with prosthetic legs 15 months ago. On Friday, Abbott visited the University of Illinois Chicago Hospital to surprise Jude with high-tech Blade Running Feet, along with two running socket prosthetics to help him play sports.
