Vermont man dies from injuries after ATV crash with deer

BURLINGTON, Vt. (AP) — State police say a Fairfield, Vermont, man has died after an all-terrain vehicle he was riding crashed into a deer last month.

Police say 21-year-old Dylan Stone was riding his ATV in Fairfield on June 22 when he hit the deer.

Emergency responders found him unconscious. Stone remained in a coma until police say he died from his injuries at a Burlington hospital on Friday.

Police investigators say speed and alcohol are believed to have contributed to the crash.
