Man who drowned in New Hampshire lake identified
OSSIPEE, N.H. (AP) — Authorities have identified a 64-year-old man who drowned after a passer-by found his capsized kayak on Duncan Lake in Ossipee, New Hampshire, over the weekend.
Authorities say Eric Stokes, of Birmingham, Alabama, was found out 70 yards off shore on Sunday morning. The passer-by and responding officers administered CPR but were unable to revive him.
An autopsy showed the cause of death was drowning.
