Ultralight plane crashes into Assabet River

A pilot was rescued and taken to the hospital with minor injuries after his ultralight plane crashed into the Assabet River Tuesday morning, officials said.

The crash occurred near Crow Island, which has an airpark for small planes, State Police Spokesman David Procopio said.
