Fund started for family of worker killed in construction accident
A fund has been started for the family of a married father of three who was killed over the weekend in a horrific construction accident in Duxbury.
By Monday evening, donors had contributed more than $7,000 to the family of Jason Sanderson, 28, of Carver. Sanderson was killed Saturday when a circular saw he was using to cut an underground water line kicked back, cutting his neck, authorities said.
“Jason was an amazing person; the type of person who would do anything for anyone,” relatives wrote in a statement posted on the fund-raising site GoFundMe. “He would make you laugh, smile and enjoy every second of his presence. He was a father, husband, cousin, brother, son, grandson, nephew, and great friend to many. Jason will be greatly missed.”
