2 dead after car crashes into Vermont river

MORRISTOWN, Vt. (AP) — Police say two people are dead after a car plunged into the Lamoille River in Morristown.

The crash happened just before 8:30 Saturday morning on Route 15 A near Tenney Bridge.

The two occupants of the car died. Police have not released their names.
