Woman jumps from window in fire, taken to hospital

CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — Firefighters say an apartment fire in New Hampshire caused a woman to jump from her second-story window.

The woman suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the Concord fire, which was reported at about 6:20 a.m. Wednesday.

Four other people fled from the apartment.

Firefighters say there’s extensive damage on the second floor. They are investigating the cause.

The American Red Cross is assisting the residents.
