WALLINGFORD, Conn. (AP) — Police in Connecticut say a woman was arrested for hitting two pedestrians and six vehicles after leaving a Rick Ross concert.
Police say 24-year-old Shelby Coughlin hit a person outside of the Oakdale Theater in Wallingford Friday night. They say Coughlin then tried to flee the scene and struck another person who was trying to stop the car.
Coughlin allegedly continued driving at a high rate of speed, hitting multiple vehicles in the parking lot.
Police say officers working security detail for the concert were able to run alongside her car and break a window, stopping the vehicle.
Police say several people were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Coughlin, of Milford, faces charges that include driving while intoxicated. It couldn’t be determined Saturday if she has an attorney.
