The Tall Ships can be now be seen at piers along Boston’s waterfront, but here’s a taste of what they look like in action out at sea. Just make sure to select the 1080p resolution option in the lower-righthand corner’s settings tab.

Boston resident Michael Holzwarth shared drone footage Friday of one of grandiose ships bobbing through the choppy surf en route to Saturday’s Parade of Sail. According to Holzwarth’s post on Instagram, the ship was nearly two miles off the coast of Gloucester.

The flotilla of 54 ships were much closer to shore Saturday for Sail Boston’s parade, the pinnacle of the six-day celebration of Boston’s maritime history.
