Juvenile charged with murder after slaying in Goffstown, New Hampshire

New Hampshire authorities Wednesday night arrested and charged a juvenile with first degree murder in the slaying of a teen in Goffstown earlier this week.

The arrest comes after Ian Jewell, 18, of Manchester, N.H., was fatally shot in the chest late Sunday afternoon in the parking lot of an Ace Hardware store. He was taken to a local hospital, where he later died from the gunshot wound, an autopsy showed.

The juvenile allegedly shot Jewell during a robbery, according to a Wednesday statement from the New Hampshire attorney general’s office.
