New Hampshire authorities investigating death of 2-year-old boy

MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) — Authorities are investigating the death of a 2-year-old boy in an apartment in Manchester, New Hampshire.

Police say they were called to the apartment on Monday morning for a report of an unconscious child. Attorney General Gordon MacDonald says the toddler was rushed to a hospital, but died a short time later.

An autopsy was planned Tuesday.
