BRENTWOOD, N.H. (AP) — A woman has been sentenced to over two years in prison after pleading guilty to selling fentanyl that caused the overdose death of a New Hampshire man.
The attorney general’s office says 38-year-old Jennifer Bonner pleaded guilty Friday in Rockingham County Superior Court to selling the drug to 39-year-old Christopher Marmat, of Newmarket.
The office says Marmat arranged to buy heroin from Bonner in January 2017. Bonner bought what she believed to be heroin and sold it to him and he used it. He was found dead the next morning by his stepfather. An autopsy determined he died from a fentanyl overdose.
