Police: New Hampshire woman stabbed in confrontation outside of her home

MERRIMACK, N.H. (AP) — New Hampshire police say a woman is in the hospital after she was stabbed in a confrontation outside of her home in Merrimack.

Merrimack police say the unidentified victim had just returned home around 10 p.m. Sunday when she was stabbed in the torso by an unknown man. WMUR-TV reports police responded and transported her to a Nashua hospital, where she remains in stable condition after undergoing surgery.

Police say no arrests have been made and they are looking for the suspect, who is described as a man with a dark jacket.
