A Mattapan man was captured by a SWAT team Thursday morning after it rammed the doors of his home more than 100 times; he had allegedly barricaded himself inside with an arsenal of firearms, some of which were cocked, police said.

Dana Hill, 38, was charged with unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition, and wearing body armor while committing a crime, Boston police said in a statement.

Police said they attempted to execute a search warrant at Hill’s 19 Rosewood St. residence and quickly discovered Hill had “barricaded and fortified’’ the home. SWAT officers were forced to ram the doors to break through.
