Boston Harbor cruise ship strikes moored sailboats

BOSTON (AP) — Officials say a Boston Harbor cruise ship carrying more than 300 passengers hit several moored sailboats after experiencing mechanical failure.

The U.S. Coast Guard says no injuries were reported when the Odyssey struck six sailboats off Rowe’s Wharf in Boston Harbor on Thursday.

The Coast Guard says the Odyssey was getting underway for a harbor cruise with 328 passengers onboard. It says no significant damage was reported.

Officials say the cause of the failure is under investigation.
