HOLLISTON, Mass. (AP) — Police have arrested a pair they say robbed a Massachusetts bank while wearing Halloween masks.
The MetroWest Daily News reports that Holliston police and FBI agents apprehended 30-year-old Oliver Walsh on Wednesday in Pennsylvania. Authorities arrested 33-year-old Patricia Desena the next day in Boston.
Walsh and Desena have been charged with bank robbery while masked and possession of a gun during the commission of a felony.
Police say Walsh, wearing a baby mask, and Desena, wearing a skull mask, used a gun to rob a TD Bank in Holliston of $4,000 in October. Authorities say anonymous tips led to the pair.
Prosecutors argued that Desena is flight risk because she’s a Brazil native. She was held pending a dangerousness hearing Monday.
Her lawyer says she is an addict.
