8 injured in N.H. when trees fall on building during storm

STRAFFORD, N.H. (AP) — Eight people were hurt when a pair of trees fell on a building during strong thunderstorms that swept across New Hampshire.

WMUR-TV reports that two of the eight injured in Strafford on Saturday evening had more serious injuries, but all were expected to recover.

The storm knocked out power to about 3,000 homes and businesses. By Sunday morning, that number was down to about 200 outages, most of them in towns east of Concord.
