Torrential rain along the Outer Cape caused roadway flooding, beach erosion, and power outages in several communities Saturday night, officials said.

The National Weather Service issued a flash flood warning for Northeastern Barnstable County, which received more than four inches of rain.

“We have several vehicles stuck in the water on different roads scattered throughout town, needing to be towed,’’ Wellfleet police said in a Facebook post.
